REESE Sidewinder Pin Box

The REESE Sidewinder Pin Box, a premium towing solution, is specifically designed for short bed truck owners. It eliminates turning and clearance issues, enabling up to 90-plus-degree turns without leaving the truck cab. The patented pivoting mechanism locks the trailer's king pin to the fifth-wheel hitch, shifting the pivot point 22 inches rearward for increased clearance. This innovative design allows for automatic tracking during forward or reverse towing, maintaining load stability and eliminating the need for a fifth-wheel slider system.

Compatibility and Specifications

Compatible with a range of pin box wing sets and 5th wheel hitches, including Reese Elite series, CURT E-Series, B&W Patriot, and others with specific wedge kits. It replaces several pin box models such as Fabex 663 and 665, Lippert 0719, 1621, 1621HD, among others. A spacer kit is required for certain Lippert models. Note: The Sidewinder is not compatible with Curt Q Series, PullRite SuperGlide, Reese Trail Boss, B&W Companion hitches that mount in the Turnoverball gooseneck hole, Colibert 208BW, Hi-Rise adapters, or any other gooseneck-to-fifth-wheel adapter.
