Lippert Tandem 12″ Brake & Hub-Drum Kit – 7K Conventional or 8K Hybrid

Service two trailer axles with one kit. Four forward self-adjusting 12″ electric brakes team with four heavy-duty 8-on-6.5″ hub-drums to fit standard 5,200-7,000 lb axles or 8,000 lb “hybrid” axles that use the same 12″×2″ brakes but larger 8K bearings. You get OEM-grade stopping power that drops straight into Dexter, Alko or Rockwell setups.

Why 7K or 8K? 12″ brakes are normally 7K-rated, but many modern “8K hybrid” axles achieve their extra capacity with larger bearings and hubs (included here) while still using 12″ brakes. If your axle tag calls for 12″ × 2″ brakes, this kit fits—even on an 8K hybrid.
