This hitch is equipped with a unique three-position coupling indicator, easily visible from your pickup truck cab, a wide head for convenient coupling, and high-strength interlocking die-cast jaws that securely hold your 5th wheel trailer in place.

Designed for excellence in quiet 5th wheel towing, the A16 employs a fully articulating torsion head, a cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts, and interlocking jaws to ensure stability between your trailer and tow vehicle. These components work together to suppress shock and vibrations, reducing any additional noise from your trailer.

Like other CURT A-Series hitches, the A16 is carefully coated with a durable carbide powder coat finish. It has been rigorously tested in accordance with SAE J2638 for safety and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

S20 5th Wheel Slider

The A16 5th wheel hitch head comes fixed to the CURT S20 slider, known for its solid design that prevents chucking in the towing position and supports smooth transitions between forward and rearward positions without binding. With the slider, the coupling point can conveniently move 12" rearward, providing your short-bed truck enough clearance to turn without obstruction.

The slider is user-friendly, featuring a lift-style lever that can be easily accessed over the side of the truck wall. This ergonomic lever motion replaces the traditional, cumbersome pull-out-style levers. Best of all, the slider automatically latches in both directions, simplifying the process as exiting the truck is required only once.
