Description
The REESE Towpower powered converter adds integrated short circuit protection that safeguards itself and the tow vehicle against harmful electrical shorts and mis-wire situations. It uses less than 5 mA of the vehicle's circuit, and is compatible with standard bulbs and LED systems. The unit comes with a standard 4-Flat connector pre-molded onto the wires for a weather-tight connection. In addition, an attached dust cover reduces exposure to the elements of the electrical pin terminals.
- Draws most of the power directly from the vehicles battery
- Uses less than 5 milliamps of the vehicle's circuit
- Will work with either LED and incandescent (standard) bulbs
- The unit is rated for up to 2.1 amps for turn and stop circuits
- Tail light circuit designed for 5.6 amps
- This unit prevents feedback from the trailer to the vehicle system
- Can be used on a 2-wire and 3-wire system
- Includes integrated protective dust cover
